FAST Forward is a movement committed to better accessibility, greater inclusion, and building communities where people with disabilities are truly supported.

 FAST Forward connects communities with disability resources and promotes simple steps that strengthen accessibility. 

Amy Tisdale is a disability advocate, author, and community educator whose life was forever changed by a massive stroke at age 43. Navigating life after stroke gave Amy firsthand insight into how often survivors and people with disabilities face misunderstanding, barriers, and lack of support long after the hospital stay ends.

She founded FAST Forward (From Signs to Strength) to bridge that gap—helping communities recognize stroke signs, understand life after stroke, and take meaningful steps toward accessibility and inclusion.

Rooted in faith and fueled by resilience, Amy’s mission is to transform awareness into action and compassion into practical support, so individuals and communities alike are better equipped to move forward together.

FAST Forward advocates for:

Inclusive accessibility that honors both visible and invisible disabilities

• Regional Rehabilitation Advocacy – Elevating the need for more accessible rehabilitation and therapy options close to home.
• Education & Advocacy Workshops – Speaking and training opportunities that equip communities to turn awareness into action.
